Location - Portsmouth. Overall Objective:
The Role
As one of the company’s Service Engineers, the jobholder will be responsible for visiting customer’s sites in order to carry out Commissioning, routine maintenance and emergency repairs of the company’s products.
Maintaining the company’s high standards of customer care, being able to communicate clearly with their customers and work closely with their close knit team (electrical, admin, sales, technical staff).
Clear understanding of safe working practices while working on high energy electrical circuits.
Skills and Experience
Preferably qualified to HND or HNC or ONC in electronics
Number of years experience in the servicing of UPS Systems or similar power electronics equipment
Experience in fault finding and repair
Presentable and with clear communication, determined to get the job finished so as to leave our customers satisfied
Self motivated, and able to work unsupervised
Flexible and able to work out of normal hours when necessary |
